The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, August 4 suggests Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will ask her husband to help find her daughter.
Also coming up, Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E Bregman) will confide in Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will question Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner). Plus, Abby Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will blame herself and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) feels trapped.
Y&R spoilers tease Phyllis will be back in Genoa City and will spill everything she learned to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). “Sally flew all the way to Los Angeles to convince Eric to recommend Summer for the job.” Nick will ask her what exactly Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) is guilty of. Phyllis knows something else must have happened to push Summer over the edge.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Phyllis Summers Lies To Jack Abbott
She’ll then see Sally and confront her. But Sally will admit to nothing. Phyllis will then text Jack. But first, she’ll run into Lauren. She’ll tell Lauren that Sally maneuvered to get Summer the job in Milan. Phyllis will be shocked when Lauren tells her she’s about to sign a business deal with Tara. However, Lauren will confide she’s having a problem getting some of Tara’s financial documents.
Then Jack will arrive but Phyllis’ information won’t convince him of anything. So she’ll lie and say Sally admitted she and Tara were working together. At home, Jack will tell Tara what Phyllis said. She’ll ask him what he’s implying. “Tara, I’m trying to help you out from under all of this before it explodes,” he’ll say. At the same time, Phyllis will open her laptop and dig for Tara’s financials.
Meanwhile, Mariah will tell the baby, who she’s nicknamed Bowie, that everyone must be worried about them. “I can’t imagine what they’re going through.” She is secretly hoping Tessa will burst through the door and save them. “We are completely and utterly trapped,” she’ll tell Bowie.
Young And The Restless Scoop – There’s Just Not Enough Evidence
At the Chancellor estate, Abby and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will get the same bland text from Mariah. “I know this is torture for all of you, but I’ve got to get in a better head space.” Abby will blame herself. After Abby leaves, Nina Webster (Tricia Cast) will ask Tessa if she’s okay. “I think I’m done playing detective,” she’ll say. “I think we need a real one.” They’ll head to Crimson Lights and speak with Sharon and Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso).
Tessa will tell them she doesn’t think Mariah is sending the texts. Nina will encourage her to show Rey the locator app. He’ll say commercial apps aren’t very effective. Sharon will say she knows her daughter and she’s probably just going through a rough time. “I don’t know how you can be so nonchalant about this,” Tessa will reply. Rey will say there’s not enough evidence for an investigation. “Wherever Mariah is, she shouldn’t go through this alone,” Sharon will tell him. “If you can’t help me as a cop, can you help me as my husband?”
